Naomi is a young mother with a newly found passion for interior designing! She wanted a website slash portfolio that would reflect her personality as well as showcase her most recent work. She also wanted a space where she could blog about all her latest furniture finds.
Sahar Madanat is a creative pioneer in product design in the Middle East, and has won many prestigious international competitions in several countries. She is known worldwide for her work that ranges from medical design to new concept furniture.
Sahar commissioned me to design her personal portfolio website which was extremely tailored to her personal taste and preferences (being a designer herself!). Sahar’s website was built on the WordPress platform and features an extensive responsive portfolio of her work, along with a gallery that showcases her awards and exhibitions.
Evinance is a Clinical Practise Guideline platform. I helped the CEO develop the name, branding identity and temporary splash page. The idea was for it to be simple, modern, clean and represent the health industry without being overly ‘clinical’ as the software is meant to expand in the future.
Maranda was referred to me by one of my collegues Laith Zreikat, and wanted to establish herself an online presence for her content writing freelance business. Maranda initially didn’t want a logo, but I quickly convinced her otherwise! Her fun & modern personality needed to be reflected through her budding brand and website, and she loves pink (just like me! yay!)
She wanted her website to be a blog, so that she could constantly publish articles and posts (she’s a content writer after all!), and it needed to be heavy on SEO. Visit her website www.marandamoses.ca
Comme Moi is a fiction Aleppo soap brand that I devised as a playful alternative to all the traditional Aleppo soap brands available. The target market is the young eco-conscious consumers that would want to experience how it feels to bathe in a mosaic fountain!
A super funky modern couple comissioned me to design their invitation cards to their special day. They wanted a funky design for their party invitation and a more conservative and classy one for their relatives, yet allowing them both to follow a unified theme.
Mahayri Group is one of the biggest umbrella companies in Damascus, Syria, and a world class player in the industry fields of logistics, trade, apparel, home furnishings and tourism. The company wanted a dynamic website in both English & Arabic, with a design that would complement the various brands they hold.
Optiman Group is a newly established fashion eyewear store in Montreal. The owner wanted a funky logo that reflected the personality of his clientele and his European products. I took advantage of the store’s name to play around with typography, and created a simple branding identity that speaks volume. If you look really closely, you can see that the main logo image is made up from Optiman Group’s initials (OG). The website was created to be interactive and dynamic, and featured a clients only area where all models of his collection can be viewed via a custom made plugin. Please visit www.optimaninc.com
MANN is a men’s spa & grooming salon in downtown. This is a full color 6 page brochure I designed as their menu. The feel of the brochure was to be fresh, masculin yet zen, adhering to the branding of the business.
MBIO Spa is a downtown Montreal spa retreat that specializes in using all natural and organically certified products. This is a full color 16 page brochure I designed, that lists all their services in both English & French.
Art la différence pour l’enfance (Artists for Children in English) is a non profit charity in Montreal that aims to raise money for children in need, by organizing art auctions for charities. I designed their brand and stationary focusing on a childish drawing, and aura of innocence.
Y-Olive is a Montreal based gourmet food products company. The client approached me and wanted an identity that reflected her personality, yet was still prestigious and ambiguous enough to hold numerous gourmet food products under. We chose yellow since it is her favorite color, and since it represents the slipperyness of oil as well. All printed materials underwent UV Spot print technique to emphasize this quality. The company’s first product was an award winning Olive Oil imported from Portugal, which is currently being sold at all fine gourmet markets across Montreal. Timing for this project was of the essence, since we had to quickly design all the marketing materials to distribute in time for corporate orders.
GNC is one of Syria’s largest logistic companies, with offices in Syria, Dubai, China, Italy and Turkey. I was commissioned to design a modern and attractive brochure, as well as a two page advertisement for one of Syria’s popular magazines ‘Class’.
Lubaba Trading Est is an agricultural machines & generators supplier based out of Saudi Arabia. The client wanted the brand to stand out and not follow the cliche of using wheat symbols and farming. He wanted it to be bold, modern and styled in the same theme in both Arabic & English. Additionally, the company was named after his mother, so she was involved in the decision making process as well! Never having worked with a Saudi client before, I learned that you need to address that market differently, by adding ‘In the name of God’ in Arabic on the letterheads. Good to know! Enjoy!
Al Saidi Trading is a Syrian based trading company that specializes in importing and exporting agricultural products and foods. The company wanted me to create a branding identity that was fresh, modern, light and would stand out in the Damascus Trade sector. The elements that the client wanted included was the image of a Buffalo (as they import Buffalo meat!), the wheat symbol and the letter ‘M’.
